Run-Run the Magic Bus

Most people think that being in a rock n roll band is all glamour and fun. Well for the most part it is, we do have a lot of fun. We do get to meet and touch a lot of people with our music. The one part that isn’t so fun sometimes is driving around the Texas and the surrounding states. We jump in the van and travel anywhere from 20 minutes to 4 hours to get to most of our gigs. For the last couple of years we haven’t had an AC and it gets HOT in the south as most of you know. I can say that the conversations and company is always good.

We have had one van for the last 5 years that has gotten us everywhere we needed to go. There is only 1 gig in Austin that we missed because of the fan falling off of the engine. Not a bad track record for a used 89 Ford van. I originally named her “Run-Run” and Oz named her “Don’t Run”, but the love for her was and is still shared by all.
