Monkeyshyne Reuion Show!

That is right a monkeyshyne reunion show happeing December 3rd in Temple, Tx. Oz, Colin, Keith and Chris back together for one night of entertainment. The Green Door is one of the best bars in Temple Texas! Why there you may ask, well it is kind of like an in between point for some of the members of the band. Everyone lives so far away now.

Oh Where is Monkeyshyne...

This site hasn't been updated in a while, so I figured I would give some updates on what has been going on. There is some sad/happy news, Keith has moved to Ohio to pursue his career, and make more money! Good for him, sad for the band. But don't worry he is willing to come back for re-union shows!

Oz is still somewhere in South/Mid Texas living the family life. Every once and a while we talk on the phone and reminice about the good old days. And we talk about re-union shows.

Colin and I now run a automotive repair shop (http://www.lonestarautorepair.com) and are trying to get our Classic Rock cover band off the ground (http://www.johnnyblacktop.com).

We miss playing live, and getting to hang out with everyone. Hopefully we will have a re-union show soon... hopefully...

Welcome Back!

Welcome back to the new and improved monkeyshye.com (yah right). Well it isn't so new, nor is it that improved, but at least it is back. Yes we are still around, and yes we still play shows, just not as much as we used to when we were young and kidless.

As you can see Oz is still sexy and Keith is still willing to sport a pink bass.

I am still me, writing smart-ass comments on blogs hoping to one day reach my teenage dream of owning a video arcade.

Tyler is out on injured reserve. And Big Colin is pitch hitting. And yes I mean that in the gayest way possible. Continue to check back for more updates and show dates.
